wine tastings

Soil : Carefully selected small plots among our best soils, located on the stony and clayey-chalky slopes of the Luberon massif, giving naturally low yields (30 hl/ha).

Grapes : 50% Grenache blanc, 40% Vermentino, 10% Roussane

Harvest and vinification : Green harvest. The grapes are collected during the night with direct pressing. 65% of the alcoholic fermentation made in new French oak barrels, 35% made in vat (16 to 18°C) then maturing on fine lees with regular stirring during 6 months in barrels.

Tasting notes : A pale yellow robe with silver tints. Large variety of aromas on white flower overtones (hawthorn, acacia) with a hint of aniseed and fennel. Light and well melted perception. The mouth develops on a well-balanced structure with oaky and honey notes. The unit is dashing : a good fat with a nice acidity. Final with grilled bread and vanilla flavours.

Sommelier advices : To be served at 12°C. It will be a great companion for a black truffle omelette, or a lobster á l'armoricaine.
